Best futures prop firms in 2026
Best is the firm whose rule you can live with. This page does not number them. The table does the comparing.
Start with the rule that has blown you up before. If a trailing floor that moves while you are green makes you cut winners, filter for end-of-day and read the funded column anyway. If one huge day is how you trade, do not buy a funded consistency rule. If you need the money this week rather than this month, look at the daily path and the buffer that comes with it.
Price is the sticker on a 50K, and it lies when a firm is monthly plus an activation fee, or when a coupon takes 80% off a high list price. Apex is the clearest case. The list price and the sale price are far apart, and the activation fee sits on a different line.
Firms I've reviewed
These four have write-ups. The other rows are on the table so you can compare the rules, not because I've been paid by them.
- Apex Trader Funding
Traders who can pass in a day and will pace funded days so one big session does not block a withdrawal.
- MyFundedFutures
Traders who want a one-day evaluation and can live with an 80% split until a live account.
- Tradeify
Traders who will grind a 40% evaluation and then want no consistency rule, with a daily path if they choose it.
- Lucid Trading
Traders who want no consistency rule and no buffer once funded, and can stack five modest green days.
Match a constraint
- No consistency rule once funded. Tradeify Select, LucidFlex, Take Profit Trader, and FTMO Growth. Apex and MFFU Builder put the rule on the funded account instead.
- Daily payouts. Tradeify Select Daily, Take Profit Trader, LucidDaily, and MyFundedFutures Rapid. A five-day cycle is not a daily payout.
- One-day pass. Apex and MFFU Builder have no evaluation consistency rule. LucidPro does too, and then the rule shows up after you pass. It is not the LucidFlex row.
Everyone in the table
- Apex Trader FundingEOD Standard 50K. $590 one-time. EOD trailing (intraday trail sold separately). The performance account closes after six payouts, and the standard plan still has an activation fee.
- MyFundedFuturesBuilder 50K. $153 one-time. EOD trailing. Builder sim payouts are every 48 hours with a 50% rule. Daily sim payouts are the Rapid plan, not Builder.
- TradeifySelect 50K. $165 one-time. EOD trailing. The payout policy you pick after you pass is permanent for that account. Flex is not daily.
- Lucid TradingLucidFlex 50K. $136 one-time. EOD trailing, locks at the start plus $100. LucidFlex, LucidPro, LucidDaily, and LucidDirect are different rule sets. The sticker price also disagrees across public pages.
- Take Profit TraderTest 50K. $170/mo. EOD trailing on the test. Intraday trailing on PRO. EOD again on PRO+ live.. The test uses an end-of-day trail. The PRO account switches to intraday. There is also a $130 activation fee unless a promo waives it.
- FTMO FuturesGrowth 50K. $119/mo. EOD trailing, locks at the starting balance. Growth only lets you withdraw half of the profit, then the 90% split applies. This is not the forex FTMO challenge.
- Top One FuturesX-Daily Spark 50K. $39 one-time. EOD trailing. Locks at $50,100 once funded.. Spark is a capped launch. The help page activation fee is $189, not the sale number on a comparison table.
- Vest MarketsPublic simulated cards. No $50K sticker. A $25K card showed $210 one-time.. Dollar cap on the card. Trail type was not named.. This is not the CME 50K futures eval. The public plans are smaller simulated accounts.
- BluSky TradingPremium 50K. $160/mo. Trailing drawdown, end of day. Check the live sticker. I was looking at a $100K price on the homepage.
- TopstepTrading Combine 50K. $49/month. Trailing maximum loss. The floor steps up with the end-of-day balance and locks at the start. A touch during the day, including an open loss, liquidates the account.. The Express Funded Account starts at $0. The 50K name is buying power, and the loss limit locks at zero.

Questions people actually ask
What is the best futures prop firm in 2026?
There isn't one answer. Apex fits a one-day pass and a 100% split, with a 50% rule after you are funded. Tradeify and LucidFlex fit traders who want no consistency rule once funded. Take Profit Trader and Tradeify Select Daily fit traders who want a daily withdrawal. The full table is the useful page. A single winner would just be whoever matched the writer's own style.
Are these rankings paid for?
No. The comparison is not ordered by commission. Default order is the order the firms were added. Affiliate links are labeled, and the disclosure page says how the site can get paid.
